Ram junior Carter Morton placed first in the high jump, second in the 110m hurdles and third in the 400m hurdles at the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference track and field meet in Nevada Thursday.
Junior Tyler Miller placed second in both throwing events, whipping the discus 38’ 10-/2” and tossing the shot put 47’ 5”.
Theirs were the best finishes as the Rams placed seventh in team scoring.

North Polk and Roland-Story tied for first place with both teams scoring 237 points. Other team scores were Nevada 129.5, South Hamilton 90, PCM 85, Gilbert 70.5, Greene County 66.5, Saydel 18.5.
